Body Sugaring Certification

Online - Theory
This section will help you gain valuable knowledge regarding proper sugaring techniques, hygienic standards, hair follicle biology, skin treatment and basic business sense including building your very own clientele. Our training manual will guide you through our program and remain a point of reference for the rest of your sugaring career. This comprehensive online manual is filled with the theories, techniques and information you need to successfully practice body sugaring.
A questionnaire will immediately follow. You must achieve a 90% on the “open book test” in order to move forward with the course. You may try as many times as needed. Once the online theory questionnaire is completed with success, you will be able to choose from available dates to come in for the practical portion of the course.
In-Studio - Creating Sugarpaste
Here, you are taught how to create your own sugar paste. You will have the knowledge and ability to produce your very own sugar paste and operate your business free from long-term, high-cost, sugar-supply contracts.
In-Studio - Practical
We provide a full day of hands-on experience with our in-house models throughout the practical section of the course. Practicing in-studio allows us to help you perfect your sugaring techniques. Be prepared to sugar different areas of the body including the brazilian. We ensure you receive authentic training to prepare you for your future clientele.
Once you have finished the practical portion of the course, you are advised to complete 20 hours of sugaring on your own time, or until you feel ready for your exam.
Practical Exam - 2 hours
You will be required to complete sugaring services for half-legs, brazilian and underarms on one of our in-house models. You will be judged on your technique, attention to detail, efficiency, and mannerisms.
Once you have successfully completed the exam, you will receive the suQar Advanced Sugaring Certificate of Completion. Your practical exam date is set by you and your instructor at your convenience and in accordance with both your schedules.
The suQar Collection
The day you come in for the practical portion of the course, we will provide you with the complete body sugaring suQar collection! This includes three 32oz jars of our suQar sugar paste (1 soft, 1 medium, 1 firm), a 4oz Proper Cleanse pre-sugaring cleanser, a 4oz Pearl Dust Powder and a 4oz bottle of Orange Blossom Water after-care to ensure you have everything you need to begin your successful career.
Pricing
Our advanced certification training program is valued at $2000 + HST. The full payment of $2000 + HST is required at the time of registration to begin the ONLINE THEORY portion of the course. Once you have completed this part of the program, you will be able to set a date for the in-studio LAB and PRACTICAL potions of the course.
